Hello.

My name is Jennie Harclerode.  Thank you so much for stopping by my site.  I am a forty-year old, once first grade teacher turned stay-at-home momma to two kids, Aralyn and Truman, and wife to John.  I currently reside in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  Most days you can find me drinking coffee with a friend, having mini adventures with my kids or singing my lungs out around the house.  I love Jesus, and it's only because of him that this little site of mine even exists.

I created this site to tell you about the journal that I wrote in 2015. Patiently Endure. To hear the whole story how it all came to be, click here.  It was something God laid on my heart to do, so I knew I needed to see it through to fruition.  Patiently Endure in brief, is a devotional journal that tells my life story, gives encouragement to those going through physical suffering and points people to Jesus.

I have had Rheumatoid Arthritis since I was three and a half years old. So, as you might imagine, childhood and even my adult life have looked a little different than "normal."  There have been so many unknowns throughout my life, and living with a chronic disease has been challenging in many ways, but I have seen the hand of God in it all and that is why I have hope. This is why I choose to Patiently Endure.

I am also passionate about speaking and teaching the word of God. To point people to Jesus is one of the utmost privileges of my life and one that I take seriously. I yearn for people to know God intimately because I believe with everything in me that he is better than anything.

This is my story, this is my song.
